"There are a lot of different potassium deficiency symptoms that can crop up when the body becomes low on potassium. Many of us experience mild potassium deficiency on the odd occasions when we go too long between meals, fail to maintain a good diet, or lose too much water and minerals through excessive exercise. Minor symptoms of low potassium include a bit of shakiness or difficulty keeping a steady hand, spasms or muscle cramps, fatigue, achy joints or muscles, numbness and/or tingling sensations, quickened heartbeat, chills, thirst, failure to concentrate, irritability, and mood swings." Excerpt from "Potassium Deficiency Symptoms and Treatments" - Potassium Rich Foods website.
