Broken or Torn Xiphoid Process

Today at work I was loading a customer a large box containing a toilet, I have lifted these toilets many of times with out any issues. But this time the edge of the box got caught underneath my lower sternum and pulling outward my xiphoid process. There was a sharp pain but I thought it would subside and go away I did feel much pain as a was walking. I continued on working another customer ten minuets later needed help loading some small bags of wood pellets about ten pounds and when I tried to help I almost buckled down to my knees. Out of know where I was in some major pain, I told myself I better head to the employ break room and rest. I went to sit down and omg I thought I was going to black out. Now I am some pain but it comes in surges I'm going to the doctors first thing in the morning and I'm sure I tore or broke off my xiphoid process and since I pulled it out should rather then most being push in should I be more concerned with this injury?
