Goo like chunks in stool...:-(

For the last few weeks I have had yellowish orange chunks of a jelly like substance in my stool.  Sometimes I rush to the bathroom with a feeling of dirrahea and on release this jelly substance and other times i have a normal brown stool with quarter sized chunks in it.  THough somtimes I have a nomal stool.  Anyone know of what this could be. Do you think i should get it checked?

You might want to Google intestinal parasites, and see if anything looks familiar, especially if you've been doing some traveling.  American doctors still don't like to consider parasites, but they are on the rise in this country, and endemic everywhere else.  Make sure you get stool samples done.   Don't go to a regular GP:  They don't have the right testing equipment.  There are many labs that specialize in this, so search the web.

I would definitely go and get yourself checked out and ask to be refered to a gastrologist (spelling??).  The doctor will probably run some tests where you will have to collect your **** and take it in.... I know it's not fun.... but this way they can actually test what is coming out of you.  There is a chance that you have some sort of infection or that something in your digestive system is not working properly.
