Can a stomach condition cause vertigo? Not vice versa.

I have had regurgitation since childhood. Was diagnosed with delayed gastric emptying and given Protonix. I have had 2 pyloric dilatations but I still have pain in the upper abdominal and chest areas behind the sternum. The regurgitation is better. GI and cardiology cleared me for any overt issues, but I'm having abdominal and chest pain, nausea and vertigo that starts with a strange wave or flushing in my belly and travels upward. It gets really nauseous and I can hear my heart pulsating in my ears. The vertigo is the worst. This feels like it is OUTSIDE of the stomach, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts? Much appreciated!
