Chest pain and blood presure

For the past several years I have been experiencing increased fatigue and shortness of breath.  Coupled with this I have slightly elevated BP. My cardiologist oredered a batery of test and all seemed normal.  My last test in 6/2005 was a PET perfusion test which once again came out normal.  All test normal but i still have these symptoms.  At times I feel dizzy.. but not to the point of fainting.  I get sharp pains under the left side of my breast.. below the rib and down towards the lower ribs.  I get shortness of breath and feel fatigued.  I was put on Toprol XL to control my fast heartbeat Lisinopril for High BP 130/85 and zetia for high cholesterol.  I am extremely overweight at 5'4 196lbs.  The pain in my chest is a sharp pain usually accompanies by a slightly elevated BP 140/101 etc.. but tapers off in a short time.  The pain last a few minutes as well and is located usually on left side and abdominal area. Does this seems to be a cradiac problem.

Have you been tested for diabetes?    Think about the rest of you.
Do you urinate more than you used to?  Do you have a "heaviness" in your chest/breast area?  Do you seem to drink more fluids?  Do you ever notice blurry vision - yes, even if you wear glasses.  Sometimes you may think it's just eye fatigue, but if it continues it could be a more serious problem.  All of these relate to diabetes.
So does the fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, etc.  And partly because you are overweight, it is a consideration.
If you are diabetic and already know it, are you taking your meds and watching your diet?  It's not always fun, but it is necessary.
Take good care.

Have you had any pulmonary function tests? Chest X-ray? MRI? It could be lung related, but could also be vascular.
