Dizziness, spaced out feeling, head pain, sinus pressure and feeling shaky

For the past 4 years I have been experiencing horrible symptoms. It seemed that the whole thing started as a sinus infection but then I went for a CT scan of sinuses and they were clear. I have been having symptoms of dizziness, head pain, shakiness and a spaced out kind of foggy feeling like i am watching my life from the outside - all day every day. There are some times for a couple of hours during the day that the symptoms may lift and give me a few moments to live- but not much. I have been to about 30 doctors- including ENT's allergists, neurologists, chiropracters, opthamologists. psychologists, dentists and everything else u can think of. All CT scans, MRI of brain and blood work keep coming back clean and ok. Nothing I try seems to work. There was a period of time about 3 and a half years ago that the symptoms lifted for about 4 months and then it returned full force. Some of the weird parts are that the shakiness seems to be seasonal - coming in spring and lasting thru summer and its miserable like a tingling pins and needles sensation thru out my body. I have also been getting what some doctors seem to diagnose as recurring sinus infections- like 10 a year- i take anti biotics and i feel slightly better until the next infection but i still have the other symtoms while I am on the medication.  I have hay fever and allergies to mold dust...Every doctor tried diagnosing something different- like migraines or TMJ or some sort of other odd thing. I've tried tons of medications. I dont usually have all the symptoms at once...they kind of take turns.  One doctor suggested moving to Arizona as it may be a sinus issue but the ENT's say I have no sinus isue- just regular allergies and the allergists say that they have never seen symptoms like these for allergies. I tried psychologists even though the ony reason I am stressed out is cuz I can never live....before this sickness I was the happiest person around- and even psychologists turned me away as normal.  Is there anyone out there that may know something that can help me - please??......I can not go on like this anymore

Please see an edocrinologist or rheumatologist.  Sooo many of these symptoms can be caused by your adrenal glands.  Among other things, they control your sodium and potassium levels.  If those levels are off you can have so many weird symptoms, many of which you have all listed here.  Simple to diagnose and simple to treat, if you go to the right kind of doctor.  I suggest a rheumatologist because adrenal gland disorders are a type of autoimmune disease.

Dizziness, headaches, tingling, sleeping problems, problems concentrating, abdominal pain, chest pain, muscle aches, joint aches, change in consciousness, lethargy, swollen eyelid, mouth ulcers, skin and hair texture changes, diarrhea, constipation, high or low sodium, potassium, blood sugar, high or low blood sugar, faint feeling upon standing up, personality changes, the list goes on and on...  Your electrolytes control everything!  And your adrenal glands control your electrolytes.

Your body is trying to tell you something.  Please don't stop searching for an answer until you find one.  No one should have to live like this.  When all else fails see an endocrinologist or rheumatologist!  They are familiar with disorders and test for things other docs aren't as familiar with.

PS. You are at a higher risk of having an autoimmune disorder if someone in your family has one.  Good luck and God bless!

P.S.  Never tell your dentist or medical Dr. this, cause they will think you're crazy!!!

Sounds crazy, but look up mercury poisoning from dental work.  Had all the same symptoms, had the mercury replaced in my mouth and  have not had one epidsode since.  France, Great Britian and Canada have all made mercury fillings illegal.  Check it out.

Hi so glad to have found this forum. I have been having the same symptons for a while now but with really bad sweats. I find it hard to look after my daughter and be energetic. I asked the drs if i had a trapped nerve in my neck and she asked me if i had an allergy to alcohol. If anyone can find the reasoning behind that question please enlighten me lol. But seriously when i turn my head i can feel it like cracking and it makes me dizzy and nauseous. I have my ears checked out but they are fine but the pain that comes from my neck up and behind my ears is awful. My vision feels just not focused and i feel like my head is all foggy, Any answers please share them.

I too have been having problems the last couple weeks. I have been having neck and shoulder problems but lately it has ventured up the right side of my head making it feel pressurized in there and if I scrunch my neck up it hurts up my right side too. And I get feelings of dizzyness. And also that kind of empty feeling inside the head. I do notice that when I freak out and panic about it that it does seem to enhance it all. I have been known to have panic attacks for years and when I get to worrying on something its like I am consumed with it and can't even think of other things. It is scary for me. If I can get my mind off of it somehow I seem to do a bit better. But today...its all consuming.

I had exactly similar symptoms as yours. Its called Benign positional vertigo. I threw out my pillow and it worked for me. Do you think your pillow could be causing that?

You could also see a chiropractor in case the symptoms dont go away.
