Unbearable periods, cramps, vomitting, low BP

I am 47 and have suffered all my life with heavy painful periods. 3 years ago I had the mirena coil fitted to no avail. For the last 6 months things have become unbearable.. I loose 2 days from work each cycle, vomitting, low BP, severe cramps followed by large clots and four days of constant heavy bleeding. Help!

I would have your gynecologist check out the mirena. Removing it may need to be your next step.

I hope you find some answers soon!   :)

Hi there, the mirena is still in place, as an alternative to the injection or pill.

I dont have endometriosis or fibroids, all scans have been clear and my recent smear test was unremarkable.

do you still have the mirena in? If you do I would have it removed.
