Does it sound familiar to anyone

Hi,

I have been having the following symptoms for the last few months - years and my gp can't figure it out.

Excessive Sweating - Few Months - Includes night sweats and cold sweating and minimal physical activity - So bad, would need to change sheets/clothes

Fatigue - I am constantly tired. I sleep for 7-8 hours a night.
Sore Alot - Muscle aches to joint pain - For no reason, worse with excerise
Weight Gain - Not so much the Kilos, but bloating around face and stomach
Short of Breathe - Im always puffed out, just climbing stairs or vacuuming- and then the sweating kicks in.
Seborrheic Dermatitis on Scalp - Has been really bad for a few years now - No shampoo seems to work.
Seborrheic Dermatitis on Face - Comes and goes- Mostly comes when unshaven
GERD - Which we believe is GERD, negative to Helicobacter

Depression - I feel depressed quite a lot. Always negative.
Moody - I have been quite snappy and irritable
Constantly Tired - No Motivation to do things
Brain Freezes - I can be mid conversation and my mind just goes blank
Paranoia - I tend to over think in situations.

Currently I take Nexium 40mg every morning to control the GERD. I spoke with my GP in regards to side effects, but she didn't seem to think to much of it.

I'm a bit overwieght (95kg and I should be 75kg) but I have never gained weight like this.

Anyways, these symptoms are driving me crazy and if anybody knows, or is in my position, it would be great to talk with you.

Cheers,

MrW

I have been away, sorry for the late reply. I hope I don't have Lupus.

I will be changing GP soon, as I don't think my current one understands that I feel something is wrong.

I'm moving to a new area, so it's a good excuse to change doctors.

Thank everyone for your input - it's quite scary not knowing whats wrong.

I think you need to see a Rheumatologist.  Sounds a lot like Lupus.  Look it up - you have a lot of the symptoms.

I sincerely hope you don't have it... it is very hard to diagnose.  And you would need to follow a strict diet - no nightshades.  (tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplant, and peppers).

   Wishing you the best

Hi, Thanks for the thought. I consume quite a bit of water. Roughly 2 Litres at work and another litre or so at home. And I drink water through out the night.

Because I sweat so much, I get really thirsty and dry mouth through the night.
