Enlarged lymph nodes and wt loss

Hi, I am a 33 yr old woman.  About 4 years ago I was dx with a pre cancerous lesion of the cervix that was quickly becoming cancerous.  The lesion was removed and paps normal since. About that same time the lymph nodes in both groin regions, R cervical, R ear, and chin became enlarged...about marble sized.  I let them go and just about 2 months ago the nodes in my supraclavicular region became enlarged also. The first 4 months of this year I had already suffered pneumonia 3 x's, I have never had pneumonia before in my life.  In the last year I have gone from 150 lbs to 120 lbs and have lost my appetite, I used to eat everything in site.  I literally force myself to eat because I get sick if I don't, I become full quickly and hurt in my gut and L side if I eat much at all. The dr put me on Doxycycline for 1 month...labs with elevated sed rate and bilirubin..otherwise normal. The dr finally bipsied the R groin node and it returned as what he said basically normal. I do suffer boils and large pimples to the back of my neck and upper back region.  I have drenching night sweats, fatige, dizziness. Just wondering where to look to next...very agrivating and effecting my life as very active. Thank you.

Thank you all for the responses. Yes, Dr was concerned about lymphoma even gave the "we need to be agressive" speech just before he biopsied the R groin node, but it came back what he called "basically normal". I meet with him in person Thursday to review the actual results and labs.  I am not sure about low grade fever as I have never checked. The only other symtoms that come and go are itchy legs and joint stiffness/pain in the am in hands, fingers, and knees.  I am wondering about 2nd opinion or if I should just see an immunologist or oncologist.  I have been advised by nurses and other dr that groin nodes are the worst choice for biopsy as they are very reactive.  I am just frustrated because the nodes have not shrunk in 3 yrs and the ones above collar bone are the only ones that come and go, though the L node is a constant size.  I am just always so tired, fried, and episodes of blacking out are getting more frequent and embarassing as I have to sit down real quick or hang my head down around my knees to get my head to clear and get my balance.  I am an LPN and work on call 4p-12a and this can be embarassing when I am on a visit with a pt.  Thanks for all the input.

Hi,

I have done a lot of research on enlarged lymph nodes and symptoms that go along with them. My concern for you is the weight loss and the drentching night sweats. Do you know if you have been running a fever, even low grade? This all concerns me for cancer. Has your doctor been concerned with lymphoma?

Hi and thank you. All liver function tests are normal on routine blood work, also all chest xrays negative, they show pulmonary htn but dr says unrelated.
