Is it a panic attack?

Please help. I am on antidepressants at the minute as I am suffering from Anxiety and Depression. It started as Anxiety (I used to worry about lots of silly things) and has recently led to me feeling extremely depressed. I am seeing a counsellor.

Just recently (Probably the last 3 - 4 weeks) I have quite a few moments where I feel light headed, my heart races, stomach jumps, I shake and i feel like I want to cry. I can't concentrate and feel very overwhelmed I have been eatting okay.

Please help

How long have you been on the anti-depressants? They can take a few weeks to work (give them 5 weeks to see if they are helping). If you have been on them longer than this you shouldn't still be getting panic attacks frequently and may need to try a different one.
The symptoms definitely sound like a panic attack.

Good luck. You will get back to your old self.

Yes...sounds like panic attack, but discuss with your counselor to see what they think.
