Exretion Problem

Hello all,

I am experiencing an excretion problem.

I can't remember when it started, I was guessing around 2 weeks ago.

I am having problem excreting. In the past, I used to poop once every day.

Now, its more of once every two days, and when I do so, the faeces tend to be very little and slightly watery.

Can I know the possible explanation for this?

I think you misread what the man was trying to say.  It looks to me like he's talking strictly about an excretion problem.  And this is a recent change for him- it's been only about two weeks.  Even if he's elderly, this change should not be ignored.  It needs to dealt with promptly.  The elderly who have strictly constipation issues need to take steps to become more regular, because if they don't, having a constipation problem can increase their risk of colon cancer, according to what I've heard.

Hello and Welcome to MedHelp.

It appears as if you have several issues going on at the same time. They may all be related or they may not. It's difficult to make a good guess.

I don't know your age. It you are older sometimes it is normal that your bowel movements are not as regular. If you are not then any change in bowel habits should not be ignored. You should be seen for a good clinical examination.

Sometimes bowel and erection problems can go hand in hand and are related to spinal structure issues. If that were the case you may want to consult a neurologist.

Often males with erections problems consult a urologist. That is their area of expertise if your family physician cannot assist you.

It's seems practical to begin with your PCP (primary care physician). He/she will be the best at referring you on to a speciality that best suits your symptoms, usually after an initial evaulation.

I wish you the very best and hope that you will let us know how you are doing.

Take Care,
~Tuck

I would think you would want a GI specialist to check to see if there is an obstruction in your bowel causing this ASAP.
