Extreme Hot Face

Can someone tell me if high blood pressure can cause the face to get extremely hot, centred mostly on the cheeks and not a fever.  Or could it be something else? climate wise where I live today is only 7 degree's so it's freezing yet my face is literally burning, for the last hour now.  Going to be turning 40 this year and have had tests for menopause thinking it might be that as in the past my face would go hot but would be over in a few minutes unlike this one today which has lasted an hour so far.  But this time the heat in my face has spread to the tops of my ears and the heat is like you have your face over the oven.  Any suggestions please it would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi I  also get this from time to time, in my case iit is caused by anxiety, and taking a small dose of xanax takes it away,  Ask your Dr, If you might be suffering from this. Good luck!

if you are 40 (I am 48) good chance you are in perimenopause....the most symptomatictime orf our blessed female lives....believe me it was a surprise to me!  You may have been having a hot flash....even if all blood tests are negative for meno....yes, you can still be in perimenopause and experiencing all this....I started many symptoms in my early 40s but I didn't realize it was peri for quite a while...lots of support groups for menopause and you many want to check them out....
