Thanks for the replys.I have done some research.Gone for more blood tests.Nothing they have tested for has come back positive.I am now experiencing some pain behind my left eye and a blurry patch in my vision.I have gone to the optometrist and they ran some tests...and are going to do more test soon.I still have facial pain and discomfort.I suffer extreme fatigue as the day go by.Any thoughts...ideas?Something contagious?Viral?Allergy?
I imagine there is a test for shingles, but "Felony" has a point. The trigeminal nerve is in the face. My TMJ I believe caused my own trigeminal nerve to cause pain in my face below my left eye. I got approval for nerve block injection, but when I learned the co-pay and knowing, at first at least, it would not last very long, I decided against it.
I was having a lot of your same symptoms (even the canker sores) and was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. Went on medication Tegretol and got
much, much better right away. Read up on it and see what you think. Hope
you find some relief.
I recently went to the doctor and blood tests were taken.I was told that nothing could be seen wrong.I'm at wits end because this pain has been persistent and for a while now.I don't have any blisters on the face and other then the few cankers sores inside my bottom lip(these happened several months ago and have not reaccured since), there have been no blisters elsewhere.Should i be tested for shingles,or will regular blood tests show this?I am not sure what the tests were for...do i have to ask for specific tests in this case? What other tests should i ask for...any ideas?
I wonder if it might be shingles?
