matter of fact I think I only digest food while sleeping :/
I am going to give the iodine pills a try and see how that works out. I am wondering if it is stomach related? I get tired faster after eating but I dont know if its related because alot of people get sleepy after they eat..
I have noticed ive been drinking alot more liquids lately. I swear if my bloodtests and brain tests etc. didn't come back normal I would think I was slowly dying.
FINALLY, SOMEONE WITH THE SAME SYMPTOMS, MOST PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE CRAZY WHEN YOU TELL THEM YOU ARE CONTANTLY EXHAUSED. I AM NOT JUST TIRED BUT I FEEL DRAINED, SPACED OUT, AND JUST EXHAUSTED. I HAVE HAD BLOOD WORK DONE FOR THYROID, AND ALL IS NORMAL. I GET ENOUGH SLEEP, I JUST WISH I COULD FIGURE OUT WHY I FEEL THIS WAY....
The meds you are on for depression and anxiety can cause fatigue and drowsiness as I am sure you are aware. Have you had any testing done for sleep disorders? I have been reading up on some of this stuff b/c I am scheduled for overnite sleep study soon. I would talk to my doc about that - sleep disorders can cause depression, anxiety, sleep problems, - the fact that you can fall asleep while driving sends up red flags of some kind! I would tell my doctor all of these things and ask about sleep disorders - maybe you have not mentioned all of these things to him/her - I think it would be interesting to see if that didn't help some. Good luck to you
The Thyroid may be your problem. Since your tests were within normal limits on the blood test, you can ask the doc to order a Thyroid ultrasound to check for cysts. In the meantime, are you eating iodine? Iodine "feeds" the Thyroid and if you are deficient, you can have all the problems of Thyroid disease with normal blood results. Iodine would be in cold water fish like salmon, or you can take about 220mcg (micrograms) of kelp in tablet form each day. Iodine shouldn't be taken in large amounts, so talk to your doc about amounts to take. If iodine is your problem, some results can be noticed in a very short period of time. It takes about 90 days or so for the Thyroid to fully adjust to any changes in iodine or thyroid medications.

Hey, I am certainly not a doctor, but it truly sounds thyroid related - also sounds a little like Fibromyalgia - both of which I have. I would ask Doctor to run tests again to see if you are hypothyroid. Unfortunately, there is no "test" for Fibromyalgia, it has to be diagnosed by a rhuematologist - and then only by symptoms - and by amount of "trigger points" on your body. If you want to know more, try to google it and it will give you a better understanding. My memory still is affected on a daily basis - my cure for that has been writing myself lots of notes - as soon as I think of it - no matter where I'm at. Sure you don't care to know the details, but I keep a pen and pad in my bathroom as well!!!!!LOL
Good Luck to you - i hope you feel better soon!
I have a history of bad acne when I was in highschool, I was on accutane low dose for a year and a half. Which helped, but the acne is not COMPLETELY gone still springs up here and there on my body. Don't know if this helps or not
