ESR is usually done with a C-Reactive Protein or CRP. They are markers of inflammation. It can be as high as 20 or 30 in people around 50 years. HAVE YOU DISCUSSED THE RESULTS WITH YOUR DOCTOR?
The value on its own is pretty high but not dangerous, compatible with a "temporary problematic" usually an infection maybe viral.
in severe medical conditions it can go up to 100-150.
the question is have you had it checked before and when? do you have symptoms of any sort?
in any case you should repeat the test 3-4 months from when you took it to check if it's going back to normal.
