Hand wrist and foot swelling

I am trying to find out why occasionally, my wrists, fingers and usually just 1 foot will get really achy and swell.  Does anyone know if this could be the start of RA?  I work out a lot and find that when I do a lot of push ups or yoga my wrists seem to get really sore, then progress to very sore and swollen.  Anyone with any ideas on what I may be able to do to help this or stop it?  I did have gout a few years ago but have not a reoccurance since.  This is the first time I have had the same feeling in my right foot.  Herbal help would be wonderful since I try to stay away from too many drugs.

Thanks, I finally found a place that sells cherry juice.  Unfortunatley I have to travel 60 miles to get it.  I stocked up . Sure hope this works. I have found that some days are worse than others.  It's going on three weeks now with this attack.  I am also looking for a rhuematologist.  From what I have found out so far I will also be driving for that, there are none in my city.  Thanks for your advice, I will post the results.

It seems like a good possibility that your gout is back, just a light case.  Try drinking cherry juice for the gout.  You take fresh cherries and take out the stone.  Juice them if you have a juicer or put them in a blender and drink the juice.  I have a friend with severe debilitating gout in both feet and one wrist and that keeps him going all year.  He gets juice in a local health food store in the winter, which is expensive, but he says it works better than all the drugs he has tried, so he is happy to pay. He drinks at least one 20 oz bottle of cherry juice every day year around and hasn't had a bad outbreak for about 3 years now.  good luck
