High platelets with high Alkaline Phosphatase-what could it mean?

My blood work came back with slightly elevated platelets and elevated Alkaline Phosphatase. My PCP said, oh it's nothing. I do question it, however, as I am not only on a ton of medication, but also have uterine fibroids. Those are really my only two concerns that may or may not be in the equation. I don't know if I need a specialist. Hopefully not!
