Hives

I am 52, in good health, take levothyrox and  estrdoil, 1000mg fish oil, vitamin e and calicum with vitamin d. 3 months ago hives started to form in a circle pattern under my arm pits. the doctor tested for high potassium, was normal. Predizone was prescribed and it goes away. when the prescription ended the hives came back. they don't itch. the hive are showing up in the creases of my arm and under my bra. I never have had any allergies to anything before. What do I need to be tested for.

My daughter had the same problem and they found that she developed an allergy to the chemical in deodorant, alkyl benzoate I believe is the ingredient , so we found a sensitive skin one by dove without that ingredient

Hi cheetos1234.
Welcome to the forum.

You may do Dr. Coca's Pulse test on your own- free download.
This test will indicate with a good degree of accuracy any adverse reactions
(allergies, sensitivities, intolerance) you may have to anything ingested.

While prednisone helped eliminate the symptoms, its continued use is not recommended, as it lowers your immunity and prolonged use is associated with Osteoporosis (leading to bone fractures) and adrenal glands atrophy.

So it's good that you're looking into this further.

Another valuable resource, for testing and treatment without meds,
would be a doctor or practitioner trained in "Allergy Antidotes" or NAET.
Just do a search for your area.

Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Niko
