How does an indivual with normal liver enzymes have Stage 4 Liver Disease?

Been feeling hung over for 7-8 mos...doc told me to drink more water.  I already drink a ton of water as im always thirsty....im now yellow with sugar problems and end stage liver disease...for 3nyears my micralbumin has been extremely high  the nephrologist refused to see me, said i need a urologist....im about done with doctors.  They dont listen and treat every patient the same way.  Ive had low grade fevers for 18 mos, night sweats, vomiting while driving...blah blah blah...also..two neck fusions never healed.  I will be dead before i get a correct diagnosis.  I have no doubt...i smell sulpher all the time
Any suggestions??  My doc seemd to think its a good thing my liver enzymes are normal with stage 4 liver disease.  However, a friend said they are normal, not high because my liver csn no longer produce.  That friend is a PA...

"At least 16% of patients with chronic hepatitis C infection and 13% of patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease have varying degrees of histological damage despite showing persistently normal aminotransferase levels."

You need to see a good Hepatologist to get a second opinion. Many of your symptoms are consistent with
impaired liver function and if this is the case indeed, you should be treated accordingly, despite the Lab results,
if there's any treatment available at this point.

Best wishes,
Niko
