Hurts to Breathe

I have these episodes. It hits me like a ton of bricks and hurts like heck. My stomach locks up, I guess you could say cramps up. Because of that, I feel pain and it makes it difficult for me to breathe. Its always my stomach and never effects other parts of my body. I always break out in a cold sweat when it happens. Thing is they only hit randomly and very far between. Last night I had a minor episode of it. The last one was back in Janurary and it was a full out attack. For lack of a better word. The previous on to that was like June of 2009. Before that, maybe a few years. Anyone have any ideas? Besdies to go see a doctor :) Which I will do. I just want a partial heads up if I can get it. I don't like being blindsided.

It sounds to me like full blown panic attacks or angsiety attacks what are you doing when they come on are you around alot of people or stressing about something going on at work, or in your private life? these are all things that could be causing you to have attacks, if so you can be proscribed a medication you would take prior to an attack or while it is happening.

Thats the other thing. They don't last long enough. 10 minutes tops, the closest hospitol is a 20 minute drive from me.

I really think you need to see a doctor or go to an ER when these attacks happen to rule out heart disease/attack or any potentially serious problem, such as GI issues. I hope it is just cramps, but wish you would have it checked out.
