Hello~I sounds like it could be related to your TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint) It can be very annoying and painful.
If the doctors are not willing to help, then see a chiropractor, some will actually gently adjust the jaw and this helps immensely, mine does this to me, and it does help. Your jaw could even be out of alignment a wee bit, and that could be causing the pain, again, an adjustment in that area could be of great benefit.

You might have temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. My sister, mother and myself all have TMJ but symptoms vary. My mother had three healthy teeth removed as the dentist misdiagnosed the cause of her tooth pain! I never have tooth pain with TMJ but my symptoms include sore jaws, jaw cracking, jaw lock.
