If it is a generalized lymph node problem all over the body then dermatitis or some other skin problem or worms in stool could be the reason. Otherwise it could be unrelated to the dandruff or fungal infection of your scalp and could be due to viral infections such as mono or EBV or cytomegalovirus or due to bacterial infections like TB. HIV or AIDS, leukemia, lymphomas and other cancers can also be a cause. This could also be due to inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. It is difficult to determine the cause on net. This is not something you should ignore. Please consult your doctor.
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Localized patch of hair loss with bumps and itch can be due to fungal infection or it can also be due to seborrhagic dermatitis. It is difficult to diagnose on net. Please consult a skin specialist. There are many treatment options available both for local application and oral use which can be taken. The swollen glands can be due to this affliction.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
