Just below my rib cage on the right, I often get a muscle spasm.

When this happens, there is - what feels like - a muscle protruding. It is very painfull, but eases within minutes. It usually occurs if I turn round to the right whilst sitting, and without moving my backend.

One Doctor attributed the pain to calcification in the joints in my spine, and recommended exercises, that hasn't worked. I did have a scan. The Consultant said there was no hernia, but also, that he could not find my gallbladder, which was why I was there in the first place. To check for gall stones. After telling me he could not find my gall bladder, he attributed the pain to gall stones, and subsequently, I was scheduled to have "them" surgically removed. An operation I declined to endure owing to the fact that it was impossible for him to be certain. I put "them" in inverted commas because obviously he did not know. Any ideas?
