dizzy, light headed, fatigued, sick

Back in January I came down with something so bad that it gave me diarrhea for a solid 3 months.  I was dizzy and light headed a lot.  Also very fatigued.  I had to miss an entire month of work i was so bad.  My PCP and GI had no answers for me.  I also lost about 25 pounds.  I had every GI test imagineable.  Some twice.  I had all kinds of CT scans and x rays.  Tons of blood work.  All my doctor kept saying was influenze, maybe norwalk virus, and kept sending me home.  Never gave me anything to take or nothing.  My GI found some gastritis in my stomach and duendom.  He had me take prilosec and zantac.  After all the tests he found nothing and basically gave up.  I went to another GI who did some of the same tests and a few of his own and nothing.   I have been to hollistic doctors claiming they know everything.  I have tried accupuncture.  I have been to some many people and tried so many things and wasted so much money.  I changed my way of eating and exercise.  I exercise 5 days a week and only eat healthy organic foods.  I stopped drinking beer and cut out any foods that night be bad for my stomach.  All this with no results.

I have also seen infectious disease doctor who seemed totally uninterested.  See did some tests and found nothing.  I have also found a new PCP who found nothing and seems to be getting frustrated.  i have now moved on to a lyme disease infectious disease doctor hoping for some help.  Lyme might be a long shot, but i lived in somewhat of a wooded area so it could be possible.  he prescribed me antibiotics for 6 months saying it could be lyme, but didn't seem 100% sure.  I'm not sure if i should take them.  I had some tests for lyme before that were negative, but lyme tests are very inaccurate from what i am told.  I also tried therapy, but wasn't for me.  Didn't seem to be getting anywhere and wasn't feeling better.

Bottom line is i have been through hell and see no end.  I still get occasional dizzy spells.  I might feel good for a few days then bad for a few.  I still get dizzy, foggy, light headed feeling.  Almost feel like i am coming down with a flu.  It's horrible.  My bowel movements also never looked the same.  I have gained back about 6 pounds and have somewhat stabilized.  I feel like i will never find what is wrong.   This has also been a stress on my marriage.  I get so depressed and down sometimes.  i just wish i knew what was wrong.  I am giving up hope and not sure where to turn anymore.

    Before this i was a very healthy person.  6'2 195lbs.  Now 6'2 175lbs.

If anyone has any suggestions or experiences that are the same I am very open to them.  My email is ***@****.

After suffering from constant dizziness for nearly a year now I have just been diagnosed with an inner ear problem. It took seeing many diffferent doctors, 2 Neurologists and a Neuro-otologist to finally get an answer. I had a test done where they pumped water into my ear to make me dizzy and monitored my eye movements, from **** this with both ears they found there was a difference in my eye/brain response for each ear. Maybe mention this to your doctor and see if they can send you for a similar test?

I have had dizzy spells for the last four years with no idea what causes them.  i too have had test after test and am still going thru more.  I am now on a holter monitor for a month to see if is my heart.  I am 36 years old and love to workout.  I am unable to do some things now due to the dizzy, foggy , lightheaded feelings I get.  My dizziness is most of the time.  If I am not dizzy, it is a rare day!   I get so weak sometimes that I don't know how I actually make it thru the day.
