Lymph node cancer fear?

Hey guys. I have one swollen lymph node about the size of a grape or 2cm in size. It has been decreasing in size. I've just been so afraid it might be cancer. I've been weighing myself 2-3 times a day and I measure the node 20-30 times a day. I just got done doing that today and I noticed in a week I went from 212 to 207. I have been eating less lately because I don't know whether or not its the fear or anxiety of this being cancer or me having symptoms of cancer. I have had decreased appetite and have loss a lot of weight. That's 5 pounds! I'm so scared I get this feeling in my stomach every time I think about it. It's especially bad in the morning when I wake up and measure it. I cried today when I saw my weight taking it as a sure sign of cancer. I have not had any other symptoms other than those 2. I don't know what else to do. I can't go to the doctor in afraid and we don't have money..... Is there anyone who can help me?

I am totally with you my new friend. I have lived with anixety for 14 years and health anxiety is my hardest of all. Especially the "C" word. It has brought out some of the worst fears in me.

The fact that they are decreasing in size is a good thing. The weight loss is probably due to your anxiety and not being able to eat. In the height of my panics, I can hardly eat.

Have you talked to your doctor about it?  Not only about your fears but the anxiety they cause?  You don't have to suffer, there are so many ways to help. You are not alone!
