My Mom's Condition - Please Help!

Hello everyone,

I'd like to get some feedback and advise about my mum's renal condition.

I first wanted professional advice but couldn't get around the navigation of the site to find out if experts offer advises and if so, where should I post my question to get their feedback.

Anyway, all of you are welcome....

She is 50 years old or so. A coupla years ago, doctors told her she had little water sacs in the womb,
but told her not to worry about them ... but if she wants she can remove them via surgery.

Now recently, she started having a pain around the waistline... then the right side... then at both sides of
the lower back from behind (maybe kidneys as she used to have kidney infections before too)...

Another symptom she has is that she gets bruises easily. Say she presses with her finger on her leg... it
causes a mark (pressed skin) that stays for a long time.

Now here is a very recent Urine Analysis result... this has been obtained just today:

Colour: Yellow
Appearance: Turbid
Nitrate: Negative
PH: 5
Proteins: Negative
Glucose: Negative
Ketones: Negative
Bilirubine: Negative
Urbilirubine: Negative
Blood: Negative
Bacteria: +Positive
Candida:  (left blank)

Microscobic Exam:

Epithelial Cells: ++
Pus Cells: 3-5
RBC: 1-3
Amorph (URE/PHS):
Ca.OXaLITE:
Mucoide: +
Cast:

Please, any help / feedback or advise is much appreciated. We'd also like to know of names of possible medications to use in her case.

Thanks in advance,

Sambi

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
The pain your mother suffers from mimics the pain of stone in the urinary system. The stone can be anywhere in the urinary system from kidney to urethra. The urine examination too points towards it. Your mother would either need a CT scan or an ultrasound of the abdomen.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
