physical therapy may work for some problems, but i too suffer with neck pain/stiffness. the chiropractor had his own medical massage therapist, we are not talking about pleasure, it hurts, but in the end, it helps.
i later was found to having what is called chiari I malformation, mine was mild and not thought to be the cause. it may be worth looking into in your case.
my daughter is 25. the blood work she had done did show high sediment rates. Her primary care wants her to follow up on the blood work with a hemotolgist. another doctor wants her to schedule physical therapy. She is taking motrin 600mg. and that seems to help somewhat with the pain in the neck and shoulder area. But it is very frustrating for her, she feels she is being shuffled from doctor to doctor with no answers.
How old is your daughter? If she is middle age she may have some arthritis in the neck. However because inflammation has showed up I'm wondering if the near faintinig spell is related to that. What does the doctor say about the inflammation? Did she have a SED rate?
I would not let the chiropractor do neck manipulations, there have been cases of arterial dissections from chiropractic neck manipulations and that is the last thing she'd need.
