Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, muscle fatigue, pinched nerve due to wrong posture could be the cause. I would suggest you get the blood levels of the following checked if they have not already been checked: potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, vitamin B complex, or vitamins B1, B3, or B6 and Vitamin D. Generally deficiencies of any of the above can cause muscle twitching and spasms, tingling, numbness etc in localized or generalized areas of the body. Get your kidney function, parathyroid gland function and adrenal function tests done because these affect the electrolyte balance in the body. Stress, alcohol, caffeine and fatigue all cause similar symptoms. Hence if you take alcohol or coffee then cut this down. Sleep at regular hours and see if it helps. Certain sleep disorders and peripheral nerve disorders due to diabetes or hypothyroidism can also be the cause.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!
I have two of the symptoms you mention, and maybe I can supply some information that you can research to learn why you have numbness in your fingers.First, there is a technique that Neurologists perform named, " Elec-tro-my-og-ra-phy"(EMC). Doctors place electrodes on the wrists, elbows, ankles and applied small amounts of current to judge whether your muscles are functioning well. This technique foretold that I would have carpel-tunnel syndrome in future years. I developed carpal-tunnel in both wrists and later had operations to correct the stinging pain every night. I was also told that the same diagnosis, but with a different name, would soon occur in my ankles and feet. I now have neuropathy(stinging and numbness in soles of feet). Some nights I awake with spasms in my calves, just like you, and I wonder whether the symptoms are from my muscle damage via carpal-tunnel. I learned that flexing my toes up and down reduced the calf pain.
Go to Google and type in Electromyography and read to gain some knowledge about EMG.
Good luck.

I hope you've already discussed these symptoms with the doctor prescribing your medication. Some of what you describe could be side effects of your med (c.f.: medicinenet, rxlist, or the NIH drug info page for more details), but best to check with your doctor.
