Please Help

My name is Allen, my girl friend is 24 years old, and we know for a fact that she has cervical cancer, but what we dont know is if that is what is causing the symptoms she is experiencing. Here for about the past 2-3 weeks, she has been experiencing chronic fatigue, abdominal pain/cramps, irregular periods, dizziness, nausea/vomiting, and changes in mood mainly being irriatbility. We have gone to the hospital twice now and they cannot ever find anything wrong. We have had pregnancy tests done and they all come back negative, The only other factor in this is that she suffered a pretty serious head injury which left her with a baseball sized knot on her head, and a broken nose which has been bleeding into her eyes, the doctors say everthing comes back clean as far as her head, but there has got to be something seriously wrong, can anyone please help us?

just because a pregnancy test is negative does not mean she is not pregnant. insist they do an ultrasound. if tests are negative and she has these symtoms u need to get one done. that will tell you for sure if she is pregnant or not.

Hello I am not a doctor, but am a RN.   It is practically impossible to determine the cause on the net and her symptoms can go with so many different problems.

But here are some possibilities that could be contributing to her symptoms based on what we know about her history:  It is possible the symptoms are related to the cervical cancer but not likely the cervical cancer is the only cause.  I'm sure she is under a tremendous amount of stress because of the cancer, and anxiety can cause the symptoms she is having.  The dizziness, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, may be related to the head injury if it was recent and the abdominal pain/cramping may be related to the vomiting or cervical cancer.  It could also be that the cancer has spread to other areas like the brain, stomach, etc. Was she checked for metastasis in ER?  Was a cat scan or MRI done of her head and stomach at the hospital?

I'm sorry I couldn't offer more to helping you/her figure out the exact cause.  Please let us know if any further symptoms or issues arise, and perhaps it will help pin point the source better.  Keep us Posted on how things are going with her and God Bless.
