I've had pains like this for YEARS...I'm a perfectly healthy 23 y.o female...work out often & eat (relatively) healthy.
I get these very deep, intense pains that feels like it is in my bones...they last for 5 seconds...sometimes more...maybe a minute or so at most though. Most common areas are down in my tibia, through my humerus/elbow area, deep in my hips, knees or in my hands...totally random & bilateral (usually only occurs at one spot at a time). It probably happens a few times a week or so.
I came down with some sort of virus a few days ago (diagnoses over the phone with H1N1...sx are pretty mild though). and I have been having these same pains but at a MUCH higher rate. Its mainly in my right distal posterior/lateral tibia. WHen it occurs, I can barely take a step (for about 2 secs)...it occurs laying down or walking...no motion changes it. It goes away completely on its own but it freaking HURTS for about 2 seconds. its prob happened at LEAST 10 times in the past 2 hours...ughhh
I'm honestly just way more curious as to what the mechanism of this pain is...
I had blood tests done recently & my vit D, calcium, TSH, parathyroid area all perfectly normal
