Took Lipitor for a year, had extreme muscle pain.

I was on Lipitor, shortly thereafter suffered pain that I thought was arthritis. After a year I stopped taking it with Docs permission. That was five months ago and feel great. IS there lasting damage?

Not usually as long as you stop it in time before any severe damage has been done. It is more often progressive when on the medication and if you stop it, it stops it where it is at. Have a CK blood test done, it checks you muscle function/damage.
