you might need an antibiotic to fight it from the inside to get rid of it. check with your doctor i am sure he will help you,mandy876
I think it might be contact dermatitis. But you could use 1% topical steroid it may help. I would see a dermatologist or your family practice. They may help get rid of it sooner. If it is contact dermatitis it may be due to some new shirt or detergent etc. Something your skin came in contact with recently. Try to think if there was anything new you tried on or are wearing, a new perfume etc. a new partner with new deodorant , perfume, clothing etc. Did you go hiking near any new plants or buy any new plants? Anything you can think of that is new I would avoid or get rid of .
I think you might be allergic to something you are eating. No amount of antihistamine is going to work unless you stop eating it. What did you start eating 6 weeks ago?
Or is what you eat "new and improved"? An elimination diet is really what you would have to try. Try eliminating anything new first of all. If the rash doesn't start to go away, eliminate anything "new and improved". If that doesn't do it, you might have to eliminate cereal and bread to see if you have developed an allergy to wheat. (very common now).
You might have to see a specialist (allergy or dermatologist) to determine what substances you are allergic to.
Have you started taking any new medicines? Are you using a new antiperspirant or deodorant? Perhaps a new detergent. Have any of these products been "new and improved"? - I don't use deodorant any more. I found that a little bit of virgin organic coconut oil works just fine.
Hope this information was helpful. Take care.
Wishing you the best
