Tapeworm segments/proglottids

Can someone give a clear description of what I should be looking for in my stools? I have had no luck with google images for a decent photograph of what they look like in human stools, plenty for cats, dogs and horses but no real definitive for human feaces.
Many thanks

Small white ribbon if intact. Or little very white pieces. It is best to have a laboratory perform the test if you are looking for a parasite for a couple of reasons. First you may not have the segments /proglottids free they may still be attached and you won't see the eggs. These are microscopic. So a stool specimen is needed. Secondly, a parasitic infection can often be a duo infection or more. So, that is my suggestion. Next time go to my site under infectious diseases and I can find your questions easier.
