Swollen lymph node and tonsil?

Last week I caught a cold from some family members, I was really congested and my tonsils swelled, around Wednesday I started feeling better where I could go back to school, but for some reason, my one tonsil has remained swollen but I don't feel pain from it. The back of my throat is red and veiny and the roof of my mouth is yellow and purple (I know it's not thrush) I also discovered about a 2cm swollen lymph node in the middle of my armpit on the same side, it feels sort of hard and almost completely painless except for when i apply quite a bit of pressure. I also had a tickle in my throat for about 2 days but it went away (I thought it may had been from visiting the city prior) Im worried.
