Hi,
Although you may not have this, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia are well known to cause sensativity to barometric pressure. Often inducing fatigue, disorientation, and brain "fog" which is cleared up as soon as the weather breaks.
You may find acupuncture helpful for your condition.
Take Care!
Hi, I used to live in Geneva and there because of the mountains, many if not most people suffer weather related sensitivity. When a certain wind comes called a Foehn, everybody is aware of the problem and some people are quite sick. I left Geneva and I stopped having that problem. Do you live near high mountains that have winds arriving from different directions? Geneva also has another wind situation when the winds come from the south. People don't feel sick then.
Have you tried living anywhere else?
Hello,
Constant tiredness and fatigue can be due to anemia, chronic fatigue syndrome, hypothyroidism, disorders of the hypothalamus, psychiatric disorders like depression and sleep-related breathing disorders.
In my opinion, pls take some iron supplements for some days and if the symptoms still persist then pls get your thyroid levels evaluated.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
Thanks so much for your imput. I never thought of either Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I have heard about both disorders for a very long time, but now I will do more research on the subject. I will let you know what I find.
No, I don't live near Mountains, and I have heard about different conditions caused by the wind. A friend of mine went to Ghana and rode his bike and some type of wind condition occurs that causes serious illnesses, he began bleeding internally that later caused bleeding on the brain. He is alive, but not doing well, cannot walk, talk and being fed through a tube. I have come to find that a lot of problems can be associated with the wind. But, I don't think that that is at issue. Thanks for your info. could prove useful one day.
Thanks for the information about using iron supplements when I feel an attack, makes a lot of sense. I will also do more research regarding Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia as suggested by Jnette1. I don't think that depression is an issue (though I do get down when an attack comes on). Also, this disorder allows for me to get more sleep than I want (also causing depression), but I don't think that it is the cause. I did in fact have my thyroid checked a few years ago and it came back normal. But I am going to use your suggestion on the iron supplements, thanks.
