Undiagnosed for 10 Months

after a night out i took some cocaine through the nose. For the next week i felt spaced out.I had all my blood checked i was told i had a clean bill of health. My symptoms got worse

bad headaches, ear ache, dizzy, lightheaded, nausea, pressure in my head, fatigue & a weird swooshing feeling in my head when i was laid down

I was sent to a nero who did an mri.Everything was fine but he did notice a partial empty sella

Over a couple weeks my ear ache went but i was getting some tingling & numbness around my nose & forehead. This was a constant pulsating feeling that got worse when it was touched

The nero did lots of nerve testing but everything was fine

During this time i started having muscle jerks in my legs as well as muscles spasms in my stomach and arms. The nero sent me for another MRI on my head and neck. This came back fine .On his nero exam he did notice something in my eyes and asked me to see an eye specialist

At this time some of my symptoms went but other ones came. I was getting a popping noise in my left ear&my nose was also making a poping sound. So my GP sent me to an ENT. They put a camera up my nose but said he couldnt find a reason for this

After seeing the eye specialist he advised i had myelinated nerve fibres but this was a normal variant

The tingling in my head & nose has improved(it isnt permentant anymore but does start up when i touch the area or my hair touches it)im also getting it on my left wrist

current symptoms are still the nose and ear clicking. The muscle jerks are now just in my leg, im still very spaced out. fatigue Iv also started to get this burning feeling that kinda shoots down my nose and down my throat.
Also a virbating or thumping feeling in my left ear

Could the 2 normal variants found be connected?Could the cocaine of damaged me

i saw my GP and he said that he doesnt know what else to do

would you have any idea on what could be causing this or any suggestions on wat i can do next

My full story is on the user forum

Hi, thanks for the comments.

Indeed it was the probaly the biggest mistake i have made as well as something im not proud of these past 10 months have been hell and my lesson is well and truley learnt. I just hope i can find out what is causing these symptoms and it can be put right so i can get another chance of feeling normal. I will never go near anything like that again.

You have had a comprehensive evaluation, including multiple MRIs and specialist referrals.  It is unlikely that I can come up with something over the Internet that hasn't already been thought of.

The MRI would have excluded potential serious causes like a tumor, mass, or other central nervous causes.  I would also consider nerve conduction studies and/or an EMG to look for peripheral nerve disease.  I'm sure your neurologist has considered this avenue.

I'm not aware that the normal variants that you have described could be causing your symptoms.

I agree with the Lyme test.  I would also add an ANA test looking for rheumatologic disease, like lupus, as well as blood tests looking at the thyroid and vitamin B12 level.

Another physician opinion can also be sought at an academic medical center.

First and most important using drugs of any kind is risky. There are no pure forms. How do you really know what was cut with the cocaine? Also, everyone reacts differently to illegal drugs that is why they are illegal. Everyone makes mistakes but sometimes those mistakes can endanger your health. I would take this as a very costly learning lesson. I am sure you will be more responsible now with something so precious...your life. You have support here.
