Hi,
I have a doctor's appointment on tuesday so tommorow for me and will ask for all these tests.
My dizziness isn't that bad today, but I have a really full feeling in my tummy. I post here what happens at the doctors tommorow, but it may take longer as over here some doctors will refuse to take blood tests and I'd have to go to my local hospital for it.
Thanks for your help x
Hello,
Going by your symptoms four possibilities are coming to my mind.Firstly,it can be pelvic inflammatory disease which can be caused by an infection of the pelvic organs.
As you are a female, so this possibility is high. It can also be due to fibroid uterus or ovarian cysts. Ultrasound abdomen and cervical swabs are needed to rule them out.
Secondly, as you are having irregular bowel movements of constipation and diarrhea along with the pain, possibility of irritable bowel syndrome is also there. Diagnosis is made on basis of clinical evaluation.
Thirdly, appendicitis has to be ruled out. This possibility is rare as pain of appendicitis is severe and is associated with vomitings and fever.
Fourthly, Crohn’s disease can be the cause of this pain. Crohn's disease most commonly affects the last part of the small intestine, usually located in the right lower abdomen. Diagnosed by barium enemas and colonoscopy.
In my opinion, you should discuss these possibilities with a physician and get yourself properly evaluated as treatment will depend on the cause.
Take care and pls do keep us posted on how you are doing.
Hi,
How are you?
Your symptoms can be due to stress and anxiety. Other possibility is IBS or irritable bowel syndrome which is characterized by change in bowel habit, diahrrea and or constipation.
Infectious diseases, food allergies and anemia also have to be ruled out.
Are you on any medications?
I would suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist as soon as you can. Take care!
