Undiagnosed metallic taste

these are the presenting symptoms of you 38 year old daughter:
pulsating pain that starts around the eyes and spreads down to the mouth leaving a metallic taste. [she has NO fillings whatsoever] It is metallic like chewing tinfoil leaving a coppery taste in her mouth even when she drinks.
Its like pins and needles in her palate and this has spread now into her jaw. She gets profuse sweats and often blanks out.

It has been going for several weeks now and is getting worse.

What can this be?

Has she had an MRI of the brain yet?  She might want to rule out a tumor.  If you are able to, try posting this question to the DR in the Neurology forum on this website.  Good luck to her! I hope she finds some answers!
