Strange pains

Hi I am a 32 yo. male in ok health.

All this happend about 8 weeks ago with some random and uncentralized abdominal pain.  So i went to the Urgent care.  I have had a history of acid reflux for the last 6 yrs or so.  I was prescribed some aciphex which has just started to help in the past 4 weeks or so.  At first when this all started the pain was sooooo bad i thought i was having a heart attack and went to the ER,  all checks were fine.  Since then i have been back 2 other times.  Both ok.  I talked my DR. into getting me to a Cardiologist for a treadmill test and that was good also.

I have had my kidneys, liver, gall bladder, pancreas looked at with ultrasound and also blood work done for numerous things and all is good.  I saw a Gastro Dr. and had a EGD done and the only finding was errosion of my esophogus.

In the meantime my arms, back, neck, shoulders, in between shoulder blades (sharp stabbing pains sometimes), dull pain in both left and right sides of chest under the bottom 1 or 2 ribs( lasts for only a couple of seconds) and very infrequent.  The pain in my chest is almost always relieved by standing up, and headaches that i believe are related to my neck and shoulder pain.

I am currently see a physical therapist and he is suggesting that all these pains are comming from a few herniated disks.  Could this really be possible?

I have also had pain in left and right side of ribcage(very seldom and only last for a few seconds)  The pains in my arms come and go for a few minutes at a time and somtime will be in one arm at a time or both at the same time.  Lately i have been noticing alot of bubbling in my left lower ribcage (same place some of my pain is), also happens about the same time as the chest pains.

I am very frustrated at most of the Dr.s i have seen.  They are now starting to say this is all in my head and now have been refered to a therapist for that.

Please help if you can!

I have posted this in the forum section to.

You have clearly had a comprehensive evaluation, which would have ruled out many of the more common causes.

Rheumatologic causes can be considered, including fibromyalgia.  I would also obtain an ANA and rheumatoid factor level, which can evaluate for diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.

Otherwise, I agree with the physical therapy referral.  A consultation with a physiatrist (rehabilitation MD), can be considered, and treatments like trigger point injections can be done to help treat the discomfort.

If there continues to be suspicion of a GI causes, imaging the abdomen with a CT scan can be considered, as it is more sensitive for some conditions than an ultrasound.

Thanks,  I did have a ct of my abdomen and pelvis.  Came back with some "pockets" as the dr called them.  I cant remember the exact name he gave for these but he said no signs of infection or any other abnormalities.

I am in constant fear of heart issues since this has started.  It seems the more i think about it the more symtoms i have.  About three weeks ago my jaws (upper and lower on both sides) would hurt so i went to the dentist. Found 3 cavities but the pains have not gotten any better.  My anxiety level is going crazy at times.  I just dont know what to do.

I have had the ana and rhumetoid factor tests done and all were negative.

Thanks for the help.
