What could this be?

Hi. I am young. I eat a healthy diet, exercise, and drink mostly water. I am over all a healthy person. My stools look pale, but when I wipe, the stools are yellow on the toilet paper. I have no other signs or symptoms. What could this be?

sounds like you might have an infection.  you should go to a gastrologist and have him check you out.  that is not normal.  Couls be the foods you eat but the yellow sounds like a possible infectin.  mandy876

Oooops!  I forgot to mention that drinking too much milk will also make your stool yellow.

Have your liver checked;  pale stools can mean that there is a metabolism or digestive problem.  You might have to give the doctor a stool sample.
