What is happening???

My body has been acting weird. I have a sore throat that comes and goes, I feel very tired and sleepy even after a full nights rest, my tummy feels like something is moving or fluttering inside, I feel feverish but have normal temperature, my butt is itchy, I just feel like crap in general. I've felt like this since June. I went to the doctors and was told that nothing was wrong except that I had very low levels of Iron. I was prescribed iron pills, a spray for my throat and pain killers but I still feel the same. The itchiness has stopped and the tiredness has reduced but every other symptom has remained. What do you think could be happening to me???

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to respond! I am 22 years old and I've never taken Accutane. I've made another appointment with the doctor for this week and hopefully I will find out what is happening! I will ask for the throat swab test like you've suggested.

Thanks again!!! :)

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You need to rule out three conditions basically: allergic reaction, streptococcal throat infections and infectious mononucleosis. You should ideally consult an ENT specialist. Also you should ask for a throat swab test for streptococcus and an antibody test of mono. If both are negative, then it could be an allergic sore throat.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Maybe it could be your thyroid levels are low. That is how my grandmother feels when her thyroid is going on the frits. It might also have to do with what you are eating and how you are taking care of yourself.
