click sound inside head

When I move my head from a centre position to right, then I hear/feel a small click sound inside my head.
I think its right at the joint where our spine gets connected to the inner skull.
there is NO PAIN whatsoever. doing the same from centre to left doesnot produce any click.
Please advise as i have noticed this just a month back.

i would worry. You are not suppose to hear inside your head. Check superior canal dehiscence syndrom, on you tube and web. You might need a high resolution temporal bone ct. If symptoms continue or you start hear other things too

Thanks for the suggestions. I was only worried since it started recently and kind of weird.

Possibly just a bit of arthritis. Put an ice pack on your neck if you hear it in the morning; a little heat before bedtime...but if it isn't hurting you, ignore it.

We all get little pockets of gas caught between some joints.
Ever notice people cracking their knuckles?
The clicking sound is gas being released.  My neck clicks only when I move it to the left.  Everyone is different.
I wouldn't worry about it unless you start "popping" all over.  By the way, some people pop when they take an antihistimine.  It causes lots of gas in the joints in some people.
Hope this information was helpful.  Wishing you the best
