Please see a GI specialist. Fissures, hemorrhoids and polyps can cause rectal bleeding, but polyps need to be looked for and if found, to be tested. You definitely don't want to have an undiagnosed cancerous polyp in you. Colon cancer is extremely deadly and is best cured if caught very early.
I have had bleeding in bowel movements for over 2 years and i am only 33. I finally went and had my colonoscopy Tuesday and they found a polyp said it had been there for about 2 years but that they got it all and I was good to go. It was over before I knew it. I feel so much better now.. Get it done.
do you have severe cramping and pain when you have a bowel movement?
