Hi
Yes, let’s hope it is something as simple as acid reflux or a severe bout of acidity. Until you reach home maybe you could take antacids to relieve your symptoms. A chemist should be able to help you out. However this is only for temporary relief. Please consult a doctor as soon as you reach home. I would really appreciate if you keep me posted.
well all in all i am hoping its not Crohn's disease... there is no one particular spot that hurts the most during these rather quick happening cycles of pain... its pretty much everything from just below the sternum down... i have not visually seen any blood in my waste... it is of a rather dark color not black but rather more a dark brownish redish color... i know thats not good... at the current moment rather then feeling as though i should be throwing up and the dizzy spells... i am not too bad... i find if i eat small quantities of food rather then normal sized meals i can manage... at least for a few days... at the current moment i am outta town aka as in far from home but will be returning soon... i am most defiantly going to the doctors as soon as i can... i do not know how many more times i can pull through the pain lol... so i gonna take it easy till this friday and at the soonest moment i am going to go to my doctor to get this solved... thank you for both of your heads up on potential diagnosis i will be more then happy to keep ya's both up to date... hopefully its just acid reflux... i hear crohn's disease can carry on as a rather un-pleasant life...
Hi
How are you now?
Based entirely on the symptoms you posted I think there is a high probability of you having Crohn’s Disease. “Crohn's disease is a disease of the digestive system which may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus. As a result, the symptoms of Crohn's disease can vary significantly among afflicted individuals. The main gastrointestinal symptoms are abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be visibly bloody), vomiting, or weight loss. Crohn's disease can also cause complications outside of the gastrointestinal tract such as skin rashes, arthritis, and inflammation of the eye.”
“Unlike the other major types of inflammatory bowel disease, there is no known drug based or surgical cure for Crohn's disease. Treatment options are restricted to controlling symptoms, putting and keeping the disease in remission and preventing relapse.”
Endoscopic studies and barium meal follow through studies will help diagnose. Please see a gastro- enterologist (specialist who looks after our digestive tract) at the earliest.
Hope this helps. If you need more help, please feel free to contact. I’ll be happy to answer your queries. Please keep me posted.
Hello,
Without examination,it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but it can be due to GERD(gastroesophageal reflux disease), dyspepsia , gall bladder disease, ovarian cysts or ectopic pregnancy in females or inflamamtory bowel disease. All the symptroms of severe abdominal pain, vertigo , belching that you are having are commonly associated with them.
Abdominal pain that comes on suddenly suggests a sudden event, for example, the interruption of the supply of blood to the colon (ischemia) or obstruction of the bile duct by a gallstone (biliary colic). Pain due to inflammation (appendicitis, diverticulitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis) typically is aggravated by sneezing, coughing or any jarring motion. Patients with inflammation as the cause of their pain prefer to lie still.
Confirmation can be done only after ultrasound or CT abdomen.
If you can elaborate on the side and site of abdominal pain, then I can help you in a better way.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing and if you have any additional queries.
