Apologies Silly me put the wrong name. Im not at my best memory wise sometimes. XX Chris
Thanks a lot that information was very helpful. I have had some constant symptoms as I said but I have had an awful time since Feb with infections of one sort or another plus other symptoms. I have never even considered ms because I thought it showe up stright away and didnt know you could have some constant symptoms. I see my neurologist on Wed this week so Ive got lots of questions which I want to ask. My mobility is quite bad now so Something is definately not right. I appreciate your response . I normally stay on this board and will post any result I get. Thank you yet again XX Take Care Chris
My diagnoses came after extensive test that ruled other diseases.
My lesions were not detected on MRI's but were detected on visual evoked potentals and the samatosensory evoked potentals.
Not all lesions are detected by MRI's.I had optical neuritis in the right eye in DEC.
My lumbar puncture was a positive marker for MS.
This had been a neurological nightmare DR after DR and test after test.I had a major attack in December that lasted 4 months.Muscle spasms, numbness, electic shocks in my spine, arch of my right foot, inability to use my hands, leg weakness, heavy feeling in legs and arms, fatigue and 2 bouts with bronchitis and 1 with pneumonia.
My symptoms are present daily, some subside but others are chronic and are elevated by heat.
If you have not had any test in 2 years I would push for new ones.MS can present itself with multiple symptoms and lesions not show for years.
