fever that does not register in the thermometer

I have been having this fever that I have been having for several years. When it comes there is no warning. When I take the temperature (tried 3 different new thermometers) it reads normal sometimes below normal. But I feel so hot that the place I sit is boiling hot. I am tired all the time the fever lasts for months at a time. Now I am also having headaches and acidity with nausea all the time.

I think it's worth speaking to a doctor about - it sounds like you may not have a temperature - but you are having, what could be described as, a hot flash - and those can be caused by different reasons and last for different amounts of time.  I've experienced this temporarily many times - for an hour or so at the time - but, I think it's worth getting looked into ... maybe posting in the "ask a doctor" section could yield some more reliable information?
