head rushes :P

Hello again. Last night i was experiencing heart palpitations and was getting some bad head rushes. I figured i should get some sleep. But when i woke up i still have the headrushes and its a constant rush in my head. its agrrivating.
Oh and my bp is a steady 120 over 80. no variations there.
I figured it might just be in my head but i was curious what you guys thought. I am also a very anxious person and i have had panic attacks before.

Hi
If hypoglycemia or very low blood pressure or even a syncopal or vasovagal attack are the cause, then they could be dangerous. You should not ignore them. Consult your doctor regarding them. Take care!

I may have overexerted the day i had the palpitations. I did work out wayyy more than i did usually. Are the head rushes deadly? Should i be worried about them?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Apart from panic attacks, head rushes could also be due to anemia, hypoglycemia or as a withdrawal symptom of going off lexapro.
It can also be due to overexertion, poor sleep pattern, drinking too much coffee or alcohol or due to thyroid disorders.
Do discuss these possibilities with your doctor and get investigated accordingly.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
