itchy swollen ankle

I am a twenty year old female and my left foot/ankle has been swollen since yesterday, its itchy and red with a dark red circle in the middle. i dont think it is a sprain... maybe a bee sting?

thanks, ive went to the doctor, yes it is celulitus. very irretating but should be gone in a few days with antibiotics.

Sounds like some sort of bite.  Please have it assessed as soon as possible.

You can try ice on it, keeping it elevated when you can and an OTC anti-histamine, i.e. Benadryl

it could be cellulitis an infection. ive had it before. u will need some antibiotics if it is. Good luck
