Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Liver enzymes can go haywire if the child is not eating well. Starvation like condition can cause a load on liver. Apart from this alkaline phosphatase will be raised as the child is growing. If malnutrition or under nutrition is a problem, then take care of that and see if the liver enzymes improve. Consult a pediatric hepatologist as it is important to rule out any infection, malformation, stone (though rare) or hereditary disorders. Take care!
