swollen labia

So, I'm almost seventeen and still a virgin. When i was like, 7, i my right labia began to become swollen and red, leathery and sometimes itchy. Sometimes its to the point where i can't feel anything. Ive been to 4 different gynos, they all say switch my detergent, my soap, etc., and ive tried all of it. Nothing has helped, everyone basically gave up on me. After I touch down there or anything, its definitely worse, and thongs and stuff make it worse too, but it never really goes away. And like, I have a bf and am considering sex and other things but like...im so embarassed to have him down there. It ***** so much, and i don't know what to do about it, does anyone have ideas/ suggestions/ advice? Please help, im only 17 and i shouldn't be dealing with this kind of stuff! email is r l l y r l l y n e e d h e l p @ h o t m a i l . c o m minus spaces, thank you.

Hi, soreness with itching can be due to vulvovaginal candidiasis. You need to get it confirmed by scrapings subjected to KOH and microscopy. It can be treated by topical as well as oral anti fungal. Other possibilities are itch dermatitis, bacterial vaginosis should be ruled out. Atopic dermatitis, which is seen due to allergic background and Contact dermatitis due to direct skin exposure to a substance which can be a allergen or irritant. Anti-histamines will help to relieve the pruritis. Identify and avoid the triggering factor which you been exposed to over a period of time. Remember any new things you added from routine like soap, detergents, clothing etc. I suggest you to consult a gynecologist. Take care and regards.
